It was announced early Tuesday morning that Andreas Johnsson would be making his jump to the NHL when he called up from the Toronto Marlies (AHL) to the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) Johnsson has been doing absolutely everything right for the Marlies this season. Currently leading the team with 54 points in 54 games (26g, 28a) it was just a matter of 'when' he would get the call up. The 23 year old was acquired in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft with the 202nd pick overall in the 7th round. Head Coach Mike Babcock officially announced that Johnsson would get into the game tomorrow night versus Dallas, and it appears will also get powerplay minutes on the 2nd unit.
