Alabama Clemson Face Off In CFP Rematch
Alabama and Clemson will take the field tonight in the third College Football Playoff championship game The rematch in Tampa promises to be a competitive game, but will be hard pressed to repeat the offensive fireworks from last year's 45-40 victory for Alabama. Should Bama prevail tonight, Tide coach Nick Saban will match legendary coach Paul "Bear' Bryant with his sixth national championship, five at Alabama and one at LSU. Clemson, coached by former Alabama player Dabo Swinney, will try again for the national championship, the school' first in 36 years. Heisman Trophy runner-up Deshaun Watson will lead the Clemson attack in a game that should be decided by quarterback play. Freshman Jalen Hurts, coming off of a subpar performance in the Tide's victory over Washington, will quarterback Alabama.
