Oops: Seattle City Light apologizes for I-5 delays
SEATTLE -- Seattle City Light apologized for causing long backups on Interstate 5 near Tukwila this morning, saying extended work made for a delay in opening up the freeway after nighttime closures. Power crews were working on a project to upgrade towers for transmission distribution lines across I-5 early Monday morning. The work took longer than expected, officials said, and the delay meant a late start in reopening I-5.
