Victim ID’d in officer-involved Light Rail shooting
SEATTLE -- The King County Medical Examiner's office has identified the man fatally shot by sheriff's deputies after revealing a handgun at a SODO transit hub Monday afternoon. Oscar Perez-Giron, 23, was identified as the man killed by multiple gunshots from sheriff's deputies when he he allegedly pulled a gun and approached the deputies at the Light Rail station at 500 S. Lander Street Monday. Perez-Giron's manner of death was listed as homicide.
