Quick-thinking employee carrying gun subdues alleged wine bar attacker, prosecutors say
TACOMA -- An employee at a wine bar used his handgun to subdue a man who allegedly punched a woman in the face and drew a 12-inch knife on other patrons, prosecutors said. According to the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office, four friends were sitting outside of the Cork Wine Bar Saturday on a bistro table in the 600 block of N. State Street in Tacoma when they were approached by a man, later identified as 51-year-old Robert Anthony Rashe.
