VIDEO: Stephen Colbert and celeb friends ‘Get Lucky’ to Daft Punk hit
By Meredith Blake, Los Angeles Times Sure, the president was on “The Tonight Show” Tuesday, but it was Stephen Colbert who easily had the most memorable moment of the night. To celebrate his annual summer concert series, “StePhest Colbchella '013,” the host donned tube socks and roller skates and boogied down to the song of the summer, Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.” He was joined in the celebration by a slew of celebrity friends, including Hugh Laurie, Jeff Bridges, Charlie Rose, Jimmy Fallon, a plaid leisure suit-wearing Bryan Cranston and, naturally, Henry Kissinger. While Colbert’s musical abilities are already well-known, the “Get Lucky” dance session proved the comedian knows how to cut a rug too.
