Sarah Palin to speak at small-town Washington school
FERRY COUNTY -- It's not the Republican National Convention, but it's Republic, nonetheless. Former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has accepted an invitation to speak at the 2013 Republic High School graduation on June 1 in Ferry County. Palin will speak to 27 graduating seniors, their families and others in the typically small-town event. According to a statement released by the school, Palin agreed to serve as the commencement speaker after an extensive campaign was waged by Senior Class President Tyler Weyer.
