Suspected burglar hits, chokes Puyallup police dog
SUMNER, Wash. (AP) — Police say a suspected burglar hiding in a Sumner home choked and hit a police dog in hopes of avoiding arrest. Police were called to a house on the 2300 block of East Valley Highway at about 8 p.m. on Thursday and found someone had broken in. Two women caught surrendered, but a man refused to come out.
