Sheriff’s deputy suffers serious injuries in patrol car crash
SHORELINE -- A King County sheriff's deputy suffered serious injuries when he crashed his patrol car into a fire hydrant while on his way to a chase call. Just before 11:30 p.m. Monday, dispatchers received a call from a Shoreline area resident who said a King County sheriff's deputy patrol car crashed near the intersection of North Richmond Beach Road and Dayton Avenue North in Shoreline. It appeared the deputy's car hit an embankment then a fire hydrant, the caller said.
