Stranded Oroville Woman Gives Birth in Plumas National Forest
OROVILLE-- An Oroville woman has been rescued after being stranded and forced to give birth in the Plumas National Forest. Amber Pangborn, 35, went into labor on Thursday and decided to get off the Oroville-Quincy Highway and take a back road to her parents house. She soon found herself in more trouble than expected when she ran out of gas along French Camp Road and her cell phone was unable to acquire a signal, according to KHSL.
