Riverside, Calif. (PRWEB) January 17, 2015 Chancellor Kim A. Wilcox and other leaders from UC Riverside traveled to China for two weeks to seek out new research partnerships, make new connections, and to see if new resources can be brought back to the Inland region. They stopped in Shanghai, Chengdu, Wuhan and Beijing to meet with university leaders, business people and government officials. Three of UCR’s top academic leaders were on the trip as well: Dean Reza Abbaschian from the Bourns College of Engineering; Dean Yunzeng Wang of the School of Business Administration; and Dean Marylynn Yates of the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. “This has been an extremely rewarding and productive trip,” said Chancellor Wilcox. “The relationships that faculty members have created over the years are appreciated and highly praised by our Chinese partners and we have had many fruitful conversations about our shared future. I look forward to getting back to Riverside
