Sulphates Filter - Envirowater Technologies
Sulfate is salt compounds found in almost all natural water supplies. The primary source of sulfate is gypsum rock. Sulfate is also formed in surface waters by oxidation of sulfides, sulfites and thiosulfates (for example, near abandoned coal mines). Waters containing high concentrations of sulfate have a bitter taste and a pronounced laxative effect on those not accustomed to it.
