Ta-daaaaa! The cover for my soon to be released debut novel, Path of Angels, which will be out March 13th. You may think that the picture is just a pretty picture of a stained glass window in an abandoned church, but it's so much more than that. In the book, one of the settings is an old abandoned church that wasn't quite destroyed all of the way during the Cleansing. I found this lovely picture of an abandoned church, which I modified a bit to give it more of an early evening appearance. The window is a combination of a rose window from a church in Poland, I believe. The colors are so beautiful and they go well with the butterfly symbol which is the sign for the underground Catholic Church. St. Theresa of Jesus uses the life cycle of a caterpillar to illustrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The butterfly is the symbol of the resurrection. Mary is represented by the blue of the wings. On each lower wing are three dark spots. When connected, those spots form the
