Valentine’s Day is just a week away and whatever your plans, add some bubbles and pour on the pink with a selection of fun cocktails to make it a celebration! Cloud 9 The visual appeal of cotton candy champagne cocktails is sure to be a show-stopper. Simply pouring your favorite bubbles over the sweet, photogenic puffs will do the trick, but if you want to really wow the crowd, we recommend Olive and Tate’s recipe (below) – complete with gilded cherries! Ingredients – 5 servings 1 Bottle dry champagne or sparkling wine 1-2oz Cotton Candy (fresh spun or store-bought) Cherries (one per glass) Gold food paint Instructions Blot cherries with a paper towel to remove excess liquid. Using a paintbrush or Q-Tip, gently paint cherries with gold food paint (can be found on Amazon or in any craft store). Set aside. Wait until just before guests arrive to make the cotton candy or open the packaging. Cotton Candy has a tendency to deflate in open air. Place cotton candy in glasses, top with a gilded cherry.
