Over the course of a decade, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced many types of moviegoers, be they longtime comic fans or people completely new to the world of comics, to newer, more modernized origins for many of Marvel's characters. But Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige says the origin story in Captain Marvel will be of a very different type.In an interview with Variety at the British Academy Britannia Awards, Feige was asked about Captain Marvel. After praising the film's cast and progress, Feige said, "This one is very different and very exciting… It takes place in the 1990s and while it is an origin story of our hero, it is a very different type of origin story, which we're excited to unveil to audiences."
