Portuguese Mountain Researh Network meets for first time
The Coordinator Council of the National Mountain Research Network (Rede Nacional de Investigação de Montanha - RNIM) met for the first time last Friday, November 3. The RNIM was created in April of 2017 through a Government Order (Despacho n.º 3434/2017) signed by 7 Ministers. This is the first governmental initiative specifically directed to mountain areas in Portugal. Isabel Ferreira was designated by FCT as RNIM Coordinator.
