SALAR DE UYUNI - STUFF TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO | Chronicles In Wonderland
“The place where heaven meets the earth”. The salt flats in Bolivia (Salar de Uyuni) are an unreal landscape in that consists of a more or less 12 meter layer of salt, you can cruise around on with a jeep or take amazing pictures with surreal perspectives. In the dry season (April- November) you can walk on the salt, in the wet season (December – March) you’ll find a small layer of water above the ground, which makes it reflect the sky. Both are beautiful, but for the second one you’ll definitely need proper shoes to walk on.
