Press release from House Dem leader Emily Virgin: Leader Virgin Responds to BOE Revenue Certification OKLAHOMA CITY – House Minority Leader Emily Virgin (D-Norman) released the following statement after the Oklahoma Board of Equalization certified a surplus of $574.5 million for the next fiscal year. "Last year, after a decade of Republican policies that favor high earners at the expense of core services and low and middle income Oklahomans, House Democrats pushed this body to responsibly raise revenue and begin to reinvest in core government services," Virgin said.
