Elegant or Festive Christmas Wreath
Hi, it’s Sandy here with you today sharing two cards. It’s always fun to use our dies in an unexpected way and that’s what we are going to do. One of my favorite die sets is the Snowflakes and I’ve used it many times to make backgrounds or as a focal point on a card. This time I want to show you how to make a stunning Christmas wreath that is either elegant or festive depending on what colors are used. The finished size of these cards is 5.5″ square (top-fold). Let’s begin with the blue one. Using the Stitched Squares, cut a blue card front panel. Optional (as shown): Using the Garden Notes Evergreen Wreath – emboss the wreath in the center of the blue panel rather than cutting it. This was done by using the die cutting machine the same as for any embossing folder with the first tab open – placing die face up on one cutting pad – placing paper face up on the die – cover with rubber pad – cover with black Impressions Pad and run through the machine. 3.
