Thinking of You Floral Card
Dear Friends, Flowers have the power to reflect our deepest emotions. They are used to convey love, gratitude, to celebrate and to mourn. Today I chose the hydrangea and peony to express sympathy and support for those who grieve right now, for even at times of loss the beauty of flowers can provide solace and bring joy. The hydrangea represents heartfelt emotions, the peony stands for family honor and love. Step 1 – Create a 6 x 6 top folding card base from White Soft Finish Cardstock. Step 2 – Create a background by sprinkling some Lindy’s Magical onto watercolor cardstock and spray with water. Once dry adhere this panel onto the card front. Step 3 – Color a piece of cheesecloth with permanent green ink or paint, scrunch it a bit and adhere to the card front. Step 4 – Using the Garden Notes – Hydrangea 2 die set, die cut enough petals & leaves to create three flowers. Shape the petals & leaves using the metal tool set. Color flowers using PanPastels.
