Dahlia Money Envelope
Hello My Dear Friends !!!!! We celebrated diwali a few days ago here in india , the Festival of Lights and Sweets . Festivals are always fun and with coming weddings in the family, the excited and happiness doubles up. I created a Money envelope for gifting the newly weds using the newly released dies from Susan’s Garden are just perfect for it. Fern dies are my current favorite you can find out the entire collection here. Here is how i created this money envelope… Step 1 – Cut Brown cardstock 11-1/2″ x 9″. Score at 4″ and 8″ on the 11 1/2″ side and fold. Score 1/2 inch on both the sides from the shorter side (9″) and fold. Step 2 – Remove the half inch portion from both the side flaps leaving the center part as shown in the image above. Step 3 – Fold the bottom flap of the envelope up onto the centre panel as shown above. Adhere the two side tabs to the bottom flap, creating a pocket . Add a piece of Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape to the edge of the top flap, but do not remove the protective backing from the tape until you …
