Nixon Dorvillien joins Utah Jazz's training staff | 10th Year Seniors
The Utah Jazz announced yesterday that Bahamian Nixon Dorvilien was added to their training staff and will work closely with the Jazz's medical and sports science team this upcoming season. In his newly created role, Dorvilien will help the medical staff work on injury prevention methods, athlete recovery and return to optimal performance after injury. He has been with a number of teams over the last few years, and comes to the Jazz after spending the previous two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks. When he first joined the Bucks, Dorvilien was hired as an assistant athletic trainer, but was quickly promoted to head athletic trainer the following season. Prior to his time in Milwaukee, Dorvilien spent two seasons (2012-14) with the Brooklyn Nets as an assistant athletic trainer. It's been a long road so far for Dorvilien.
