I was diagnosed with MS when I was 39 years old. At first I was angry, then I was in denial, and now I’m beginning to accept my lot in life. Last summer, I lost my brother and sister. They were the last members of my family, so now I am really on my own. I have a caretaker who helps me and I receive support from Ometz, but I needed to do more to help myself live. So this past spring, I started a GoFundMe page to help me with my outings and to get to the gym every day. One thing I love doing is coming to the gym; it really keeps me going. It can be hard sometimes and I get tired, but everyone here is very supportive.
