Adams High School eSports Team Wins $60,000 in Scholarships
Five John Adams High School students brought home a trophy and $60,000 in scholarships recently after winning Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis’ second annual League of Legends High School Invitational. The group competed in live tournament play against five other schools from Indiana and Illinois Oct. 19 and 20. The “League of Legends” esports teams consisted of five players who control unique champions, each with their own design and abilities, according to a news release.
