HIT workout: Is the best way to lose weight?
What is a HIT workout and will it help you lose weight? A high-intensity workout (typically known as “HIT”) is a form of workout lasting about 15-20 minutes. It usually consists of 4 exercises, 30 seconds per rep, followed by 30 seconds of rest, then you repeat the exact process 4 times. And yes, it will absolutely help you lose weight! HIT is a great option for your weight loss journey for many reasons. 1. Fat burning The cardio in this workout is intense! You will see and feel the results. Depending on your intensity (of which there should be a significant amount), and the exercise’s you choose, you could be burning anywhere between 9-16 calories per minute! That’s 180-360 for the duration of the workout. That extra piece of pizza (or broccoli, I guess), won’t make you feel so guilty! 2. No equipment required All of the exercises are meant to incorporate your entire body with emphasis on no equipment or gym time! This is a huge money and time saver.
