Gold Crimson Through Flowing Waters - ART HUNT | Online Art Gallery
In the early 2000’s, Karen Keene Day spent time visiting a small island on St. Helena’s Island, South Carolina, called Little Horse Island. There was a small band of Marsh Tacky wild horses that lived in the marsh by the salt water seas that came in from the Atlantic ocean. Karen did a series of “Through Flowing Waters”. “Gold Crimson Through Flowing Waters” was of a beautiful mature mare she found especially graceful. One day she was coming out of the marsh up and over an embankment.
