To advance the fundraising work of Mercy For Animals in India by creating and implementing all possible fundraising efforts that include online, annual giving, and major gift work Position Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive annual fundraising plan for MFA in India that includes all possible revenue streams (online giving, major gifts, events, etc.) Develop and execute strategies to identify, research, cultivate, and solicit qualified prospects for major gifts Target donors based on giving potential and substantive interests Create and execute an annual online giving fundraising plan Manage all donor relations and communications, involving other directors and staff when necessary Design, produce, and manage fundraising events when applicable Identify and implement innovative fundraising ideas relevant to the culture of philanthropy in India Develop monthly progress reports with analysis of each revenue stream Finalize any additional paperwork or process needed to be fully operational in India Identify any barriers to success in reaching fundraising targets and determine appropriate solutions Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or other relevant area (preferred) Previous fundraising experience Previous sales or marketing experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills “Think outside the box” mentality Outgoing and friendly personality Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with competing deadlines Careful attention to detail Initiative, flexibility, and creativity Willingness and ability to travel Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Drive) Professional appearance and adherence to a vegan lifestyle Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Mercy For Animals provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran.
