A genius hybrid between the rugala and babka, this muffin-size babkala offers a mouthful of crispiness with every bite. The dough is slightly less yeasty but definitely more buttery than the babka dough. I use the freshest cream cheese and real vanilla beans to create the sweet and creamy interior. Topped with my signature crispy streusel, this item is a winner–and by far, my favorite babkala. Bite in and you won’t know what hit you. You may want to freeze them immediately, or they will be gone by the time you count to ten.
