My Favourite time of year for photography | Adventure Brown
Its starting to get to my favourite time of year for photography, the time we have very early dark nights, and later sunrises. I recently stayed in one of my favourite location up in Northumberland, and I was woken to a bright light beaming through the window, I havent moved as quick to get ready and head out with the camera, I didn’t have to go far as the shot I had in mind was right out the frnt door of the shepherds hut we were staying in. The sun was rising behind the hills in the distance with the Shepherds hut as my focal point in this shot The cloud formation was just spectacular But for this shot I had to bracket at 1 stop intervals because I was getting unwanted sun-flare that wasn’t helping the image at all. I think there is a time and a place for sun-flare and this wasn’t it. So like I said I had to bracket the shots, I took 3 in total all shot in manual mode and manual focus set at F16, the shutter speed changed as the different bracketed shots were fired, and all images were processed in Lightroom.
