So I started a Redbubble a little while ago. I make fanart and lil pictures and as much as I love to draw I never thought it would really reach anyone, especially with how much amazing work there is out there. A couple of weeks ago, i was really excited that I actually made a sale for a shirt to someone in the UK. Today I saw this picture:

This is my artwork. My one sale was to Jodie Whittaker. And she wore it to awesome con?!! My brain can’t process this information?!

if a classic Doctor ever returns to the show (be it with the original actors and some timey wimey explanation like in the great minisode Time Crash, or with new actors like in Twice Upon a Time), I would love for them to be shown to be supportive of the causes we have now that weren't seen as such an important issue or even correct back then

like, a character stating that they prefer they/them pronouns and the Third Doctor (played by Sean Pertwee PLEASE) saying "yes, of course" and not making a big deal out of it

so, thanks Moffat for overplaying 1's misogyny that, while existing in very small scenes during his era, could have been simply retconned away

Big Finish is better than the show. They let the 1st Doctor say gay rights.

It’s personal for the Doctor. The Master is his enemy, his opposite, and yet so tantalisingly close to being his soul mate. There’s something epic about their sheer existence - the last two survivors of an ancient race. It’s a clash of the titans. Both of them heading for death, and yet both determined to survive - at any cost.

-Russell T Davies

i would kill for the confidence of novelists who write genius-poet characters and then actually write samples of the “genius” poetry in the book. if i were a novelist writing a genius-poet i’d just be like “trust me, the poetry’s real good.”
