Ok we are nearing 2020...forced and arranged marriages should die out by now. Pass this on to support true love and the freedom so many people have sacrificed for

Updates to Tumblr’s Community Guidelines

Today we announced some big updates to our Community Guidelines and what kind of content is permitted on Tumblr. Adult content will no longer be allowed here. While we do not judge anyone for their desire to post, engage with, or view this stuff, it is time for us to change our relationship with it.

We expect you may have some questions on how this will affect you, and we’re here to make sure those questions get answered.

When does the new policy take effect?

Our new Community Guidelines will go into effect on December 17, 2018.

Newly uploaded content flagged as adult will no longer be allowed on Tumblr. We’ll also begin flagging and removing existing adult content with the ultimate goal of removing as much of it as we can.

What is considered adult content?

Adult content primarily includes photos, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples, and any content—including photos, videos, GIFs and illustrations—that depicts sex acts.

What is still permitted?

Examples of exceptions that are still permitted are exposed female-presenting nipples in connection with breastfeeding, birth or after-birth moments, and health-related situations, such as post-mastectomy or gender confirmation surgery. Written content such as erotica, nudity related to political or newsworthy speech, and nudity found in art, such as sculptures and illustrations, are also stuff that can be freely posted on Tumblr.

@staff go fuck yourselves you hypocrites. You will NEVER be allowed to join Apple because you allow racists and Nazi supporters the freedom to do and say whatever they want and yet you have to audacity to ban all NSFW that isnt breastfeeding or "health related". Jokes on you when people start posting std pictures or childbirth pictures since it is realted to health. Good riddance to you sell outs and enjoy going under come Dec. 17th

My Father has passed away.

Hell everyone,  it is with a heavy heart I inform you all that my father, Edward, passed away today. We’re all still coming to terms with it. If any of you guys could help my mother out and donate to this memorial fund in his honor. It will help cover final arrangements, medical bills, and future related expenses for my mom. Also, please share the link if possible, every little bit helps. Thank you guys. https://www.gofundme.com/edward-benefield-memorial-fund

Always hail our Shipper-in-Chief!!

Actually, in that scene it was the leopard who spoke to the polar bear (and then the polar bear laughs) but still, I’m pretty sure that’s what Moore meant!! x)

✊ Today is an Internet-wide day of action for net neutrality ✊

There’s been a major development over the past 24 hours: another member of Congress just came out in support of the House Congressional Review Act resolution to overturn FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s net neutrality repeal.

This is a big deal and could help push other lawmakers do the same, but we have to act fast because the deadline is just over a week away.

We’ve been fighting for months without seeing any movement in Congress, watching the clock ticking down to the deadline. But Rep Joe Morelle (NY-25) his support for the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution could change that.

If we act fast, we can leverage this new momentum to unleash a small landslide of other representatives coming out for net neutrality before the December 10th deadline, which will make a huge difference in the battles ahead.

Your voice matters. As part of today’s Internet-wide day of action, thousands of others are speaking out, along with celebrities, musicians, and websites like Tumblr, Postmates and Etsy.

You can join them and show your support for net neutrality by submitting an ‘I support net neutrality’ photo. We will be flooding lawmakers’ social media feeds with pictures, so if they decide to vote against the open Internet we will make them look us in the eye as they do it.

We can’t let this deadline come and go without making Congress remember that the whole Internet is watching. We’re still fighting for net neutrality. And we won’t forget if they betray us.

Tell everyone you know to take action at DeadlineForNetNeutrality.com and spread the word any way you can. Click here to find ideas on how you can use your slice of the Internet – whether that’s your Tumblr blog, a website you run, or any of your social media accounts – to help get the word out. We’re counting on you!
