“Breathe.” He spoke, pressing the palm of his hand onto your back “There's no need to worry, just breathe.”

You raised a shaky hand over your trembling mouth, biting your tongue fighting back to tears welling up in your eyes. The floor was creaking, yet you didn't make the effort to turn around. It was a soft pull that resulted from your back pressing up against his chest which brought you back to reality. It was Giyuu, you could tell that as soon as a soft hum escaped his lips. His relationship with words wasn’t exactly smooth, yet his effort to sit here with you was more than enough.

Your legs were about to buckle underneath you, all of the stress from your current situation keep piling on to a point of you not knowing if you could handle it anymore. You stood in front of Obanai’s estate, your heart pounding through your ears. It hurt. You didn't even know if you could stand anymore and your view of time was beginning to warp. You shut down. It was like you were witnessing your state of panic from a third person view. You regained yourself with Obanai kneeling above you, stroking your soft hair with his lengthy fingers and messaging words of affirmation directly to you, his eyes were soft. And his voice was barely more than a whisper. He was here for you.
