Hi, could you share a link to your inprnt? I'm having a hard time finding it. thanks so much and I adore your art!

Oh darn! For me it works if I click my 'prints' link at the top, but let me know if anyone is having trouble. I only have a couple prints available atm but I do plan to add more. o/ Thanks for asking and for your kind words <3 https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/dmanart/

Hi, I love your gouache art, I wanted to try learning as I was just gifted a paint set… do you have any recommendations or favorite resources? Thanks in advance and again, your work is fantastic

Hey there! Thanks for your kind words! Let me grab you some links to some videos that I checked out before I got started. I'm not fully confident with handling gouache yet, but I feel I get better with each project! The hardest part has certainly been getting the right consistency - too much water and you lose your opacity and some vibrancy, but too little and it's so hard to move the paint around (and sometimes it makes those annoying built-up texture areas that I don't always want!). I personally made sure to take time to analyze how much water I'm adding to my paints and to watch for how the paint is behaving on the palette, and I think that is helping me become more comfortable with judging how the paint will behave on paper. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNpVAGuw6Oo&ab_channel=MarySanche https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHAMthCXd-w&ab_channel=MyriamTillson

I hope these help, and I hope you enjoy your gouache journey! <3
