slides im sharing w my family this week bc it pains me to see how they manage their passwords. and also easy steps they can take to protect their privacy (firefox mainly). if u have any questions let me know.

also. uBlock origin is better than adblock plus bc: it allows NO ADS (ABP will allow certain ads and let bigger companies thru - its “acceptable ads” program) + is more lightweight and easier on your computer’s resources than ABP.

im seeing a pick up in rbs for this – a new and pertinent addition is that chrome is planning to switch from manifest v2 to manifest v3 soon. this means ad blockers will no longer work in chrome.

switch to firefox if you want to preserve your ad blocking abilities and your data privacy!!

Rebloging so I don't forget this

a comprehensive collection of weird-ass wikipedia articles to read when you're bored

fair warning: while some of these articles are just silly or weird, i do like to freak myself out, so a fair amount of these are creepy and/or morbid! some of the links involve death and occasionally suicide, so consider this your blanket warning for potentially upsetting/tiggering stuff! also when you’re white-knuckled gripping the bedframe at four am because you’re too freaked out to go get a glass of water and you think there’s an axe-murderer in your closet, don’t go a-blamin’ me. you clicked the link.

Not me thinking demon core was an aesthetic😭😭

the feminine urge to run barefoot into the forest. to read and make art. to tell people how much they mean to you. to pick pretty flowers and put them in someone’s hair. to stare at the sky and see your own breath as you breathe in the changing air.

Yes, really, but also stay home under layers and layers of cozy blankets and hearing the rain fall outside, feeling safe and warm. Reading a book next to the fire and then making some sketches by the window of the people running away from the rain. Then going to bed and enjoy the complete darkness thinking of nothing of importance until the dark consumes you and you finally fall asleep, conforted by the fact that you don't have anything to worry about tomorrow and can stay in bed for how long you want...

Yeah...

arabic poetry is so beautifully yet painfully romantic, i mean “they asked “do you love her to death?” i said “speak of her over my grave and watch how she brings me back to life" and “because my love for you is higher than words, i've decided to fall silent" could have got jane austen crying and shaking

I wish there were more Arabic poetry I could find, maybe in my native, but tbh I don't even know where to start!

holding hands

raised hands of great finesse, kom ombo temple - egypt // holding hands, persepolis - iran // egyptian colossal of ramesses II and the goddess sekhmet // temple of horus at edfu

I love this so so so much

is the drunk girl at parties who collects crystals not a modern Oracle of Delphi? does she not get high as fuck, spout nonsense, and wait for those in power to inevitably meet their hubris?

time is a circle.

YES! APOLLO WOULD BE SO PROUD✨
