you need to get it out of your mind that psychosomatic illness is just “making up symptoms” when it’s actually much more like your body is being actively poisoned by chemicals released from your brain
if you’re so stressed that you’re puking your guts up every morning, are unable to eat or keep anything down, you can’t look at light without feeling infinitely worse and feel exhausted and in pain all the time (or whatever your particular stress induced symptom set is) you’re not just feeling like that because you’ve willed it into being. your body is begging for relief from the constant barrage of stress hormones and it requires the fundamental source of stress to go away, not just distracting yourself from the symptoms
just because the root is psychological doesn’t mean the result isn’t an entirely physical process.

Canada aired a new episode of PAW Patrol today. The first Jungle Pups, in fact! We finally get to see the new subseries in action!
"Jungle Pups: Pups Find a Hidden Jungle"
As previously reported, instead of gaining a new pup, we've got Tracker helping out the team for this subseries. Honestly, he could certainly use more screen time, so I actually really like this choice!
Otherwise, this being the first episode of a subseries, naturally every pup got their chance to shine at one point or another. Although Marshall didn't step out of his new vehicle much (none of them did, really), it was still cool seeing him use his new Elephant-themed vehicle. Naturally, the trunk stands in as his water cannons, which is pretty cute. Honestly, I think fans will enjoy seeing the other pups in action, too.
Overall, I thought it was a fun episode. I'm certainly curious to see more now!
