(Tenny's pov) 'I like him! He's not much good for a conversation, being quite idle, and doesn't even react when I mess with his clothes! It's so lovely when we get to sit with each other.' (Wally's pov) 'I love all my neighbours.'
Julie- 'What an energetic young lady! although I can't seem to get nearly as caught up in her games as she does, she certainly is the most exciting of entertainment.' 'He's so cool! I like messing with their tails and it's so funny when they grab onto me like that!'
Sally- 'How dramatic she is! I can never get a moment of calm around her, nor a snatch of breath with all the gasping she causes! Which is good, of course.' 'What an actor! A bit lacking with the facial expressions, but the emotion in their voice, the body language in his tails-! bravo!! Encore!!!'
Howdy- 'A lovely bit of chatter to brighten up my day, he is an optimistic lad. Although I sometimes have some difficulty paying for my goods, his charm never fails to make me smile!' 'Not that funny, to be honest, but a pleasant friend nonetheless. His lazyness rubs with my work ethic though- I don't know how he just lays around for hours like that!'
Poppy- 'So wonderfully warm and kind. I wish she'd stop worrying so much, but otherwise such a comforting person to interact with.' 'What a proper young man. It warms my heart when they hug my feathers and such, their comfort makes a little old bird like me feel so proud.'
Frank- 'Such an informed character! I love discussing with him- it is always so enlightening. It is quite sad to see someone who smiles so infrequently, however.' 'I hate how touchy they are, and honestly I wish they'd go away a lot of the time. But sometimes it seems like he's the only one I can hold an intelligent conversation with, and that is nice."
Eddie- 'Eddie is so friendly and fuzzy, I adore how he always greets me when walking past on his daily rounds.' 'It's always a lovely ritual seeing them every day, and talking with them is an… interesting experience, I suppose.'
Barnaby- 'What an unbelievably unfunny dog, who still manages to make me smile anyway! I love him dearly, his soft and squishy nature is far too cute!' 'I have no idea what's up with this guy, he laughs all the time but never to my jokes, but he's still great anyway!'
Home- 'on the odd side, but I like them still. When I look away from the clouds and see it watching me, I feel so safe and protected!' 'creak'
Some fun facts!
- They are the same kind of puppet as Howdy, Poppy and Barnaby, meaning he is a similar height. I think he'd probably be slightly shorter than all of them though.
- He is very carefree, never really worrying about anything or involving themselves in drama
- In fact, they love watching things go down and has an adoration for Sally's plays.
- He's actually way smarter than he seems (obvs got that private tutored education)
- and sometimes him and Frank talk late into the night about random 'intellectual' stuff
- They're really naive and gullible though, and really can't lie or believe that anyone else can
- It's shown a bit earlier but they love holding or hugging people while talking to them for no real reason
- His pocketwatch is permanently stopped because he doesn't really care about the time
- Honestly I think they never get angry at all, but can sometimes be a bit sad… and the only time they'd be scared is when welcome home's spooky aspect is kicking in, not really because of anything else.
