Hi! I'm doing a project on U of T and I was wondering, when do you guys get your final exam schedules// when do you guys know when your finals are? Thanks!
Hello! We usually get our final exam schedules mid October for first semester, and mid February for second semester. More information on our exams can be found here: http://www.artsci.utoronto.ca/current/exams/

I'm going into grade12 this year and I will be applying to UTSG for lifesci. All my life my parents have never given me the chance to show that i'm capable of being independent and responsible, and are extremely over protective. I live in Brampton so they want me to drive. Any advice what arguments could convince my parents such as being on campus gives me more time to study/volunteer? My parents can afford residence but just don't want to give me freedom. I'm looking into Innis bcuz its cheap
I sympathize to an extent. My parents were strict and overprotective growing up. Take it as a sign of their affection. The only good argument off the top of my head, is that you save time commuting. Also, living alone teaches you how to be independent, fend for yourself, live in “harmony” and cooperate with others,
hi, i was just wondering how to know wich courses to apply, i want to do criminology and socio-legal studies!! HELPPP!!
Hey!
I am so sorry for the late reply, I check tumblr less nowadays. It depends if you’re doing a major, or minor … If you go to the academic calendar : http://www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca/ofr/calendar/# you can find the info there! You can also talk to your college’s academic adviser for more help :)
Can you tell me everything about Woodsworth!!!! (social life, parties, the amenities, what it has to offer and anything and everything else) I am debating between UofT and a few other schools and will be living at Woodsworth if I choose UofT.
Woodsworth college residence is one of the newer buildings, so that means there’s air condition for the hot summer days. It’s also located right on Bloor/St.George so it’s really close to the subway. If you stay on residence, there’s social events, programming, counselling etc. The apartments are either 4-6 rooms and you share the bathroom and kitchen. There are study rooms on the top floors. A pretty nice environment :)
Do you know how hard it is to switch from a bachelor of arts to a bachelor of science? And what the prerequisites are for a bachelor of science degree?
Hey!
I haven’t logged onto tumblr for a while, so I’m sorry for the delay in replying. You can check out the degree requirements here: http://www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca/ofr/calendar/Degree_Requirements_%28H.B.A.,_H.B.Sc.,_BCom%29.html
Generally, it depends if there’s overlapping courses between your current major and intended major. You can also talk to your college’s academic adviser for more help :)
