Timothee Chalamet's portrayal of Willy Wonka is a direct line to Gene Wilder's and I don't think they could've cast it better 💜💜 his energy and persona matches so well with Wilder's Wonka and I am so excited for the film!!!

Grandma Josephine: 80 years old, Mr. Bucket’s mother, Grandpa Joe’s wife. A bit tired and frail from being bedridden for 20 years, she is trying to keep a positive attitude about the family’s new living situation for the sake of her grandson, Charlie.
Mrs. Bucket: 39 years old, Charlie’s mother. Loves her family more than anything, has previously spent most of her time taking care of the grandparents, she is now excited to have some free time.
Grandma Georgina: 78 years old, Mrs. Bucket’s mother, Grandpa George’s wife. Does not trust Mr. Wonka and is very vocal about it, but her strong will is why her family loves her, she is working hard to become more polite.
Grandpa Joe: 90 years old, Mr. Bucket’s father, Grandma Josephine’s husband. Charlie’s best friend, and fellow enthusiast of the Wonka brand.
Charlie: 10 years old, Mr. Wonka’s #1 fan and his new apprentice. Because of Charlie, the whole family got to move into Wonka’s factory and now help him run it.
Willy Wonka: age unknown, The founder of Wonka’s chocolate factory and a rather creative inventor, he chose Charlie to become heir to his factory. He sometimes has cryptic knowledge on supernatural things.
Grandpa George: 81 years old, Mrs. Bucket’s father, Grandma Georgina’s husband. Also tired from being bedridden for 20 years, the new living situation is a big adjustment but he is making a new attempt to live life to the fullest.
Mr. Bucket: 39 years old, Charlie’s father. Was previously a very quiet man, is now enthusiastic about learning everything he can about the factory, he has especially taken an interest in the mechanics.
