october 18th 2020 • currently reading: the southern book club’s guide to slaying vampires. i finished the dragon republic last night and absolutely loved it. in fact, i cannot get it out of my head. so i’m trying to distract myself with this one. people say it’s spooky, i haven’t been spooked so far. but i’m curious, and i like the writing style. so i can’t wait to read/know more.
I love reading books cuz for a couple hundred pages, all these goddamn problems aren’t mine to deal with HA! this must be what God feels like
I really wanted to make an Over the Garden Wall illustration that looks like those old vintage halloween postcards, and I’m really happy with the result!!!!! I intend to sell these as prints at some point

Our language-learning section is perfect for staying motivated and, hopefully, connecting with other learners and natives in language-specific categories. We have daily translation exercises and a language learning chatroom for people to talk about their love of languages, share resources, and join the dedicated language voice chat to practice speaking skills.
I tried to make the server as calm as possible and, hopefully, not too overwhelming. There’s an arcade for games, daily generated creative writing prompts, and a music channel. She slumped against the neck of the hippocampus and instantly fell asleep. I didn’t know how far the hippocampi could take us. I didn’t know where we were going. I just propped up Annabeth so she wouldn’t fall off, covered her in the Golden Fleece that we’d been through so much to get, and said a silent prayer of thanks. Which reminded me … I still owed the gods a debt. ‘You’re a genius,’ I told Annabeth quietly. Then I put my head against the Fleece, and before I knew it I was asleep, too
