It’s hard to explain such a complicated matter in a short comic, so please forgive me for not diving deeper in some nuances. Also: I am not black, and I’m Canadian, so I’m not an authority on the matter. I just know how to draw. Listen to black voices.

My fellow TMEs, we have to realize that we are NOT the main victims of TERFS. Trans women are. The relation we have with TERFS vs. Trans women is completely different, whereas they try and attempt to recruit and brainwash TMEs, they are actively trying to get rid of trans women.
Stop acting like trans women are some secondary victims. They are THE biggest victims of TERFs, and only when we start to collectively agree on that can we start to work towards supporting trans women.
Please, please don’t try to detract from the harm and trauma trans women have been dealt by TERFs. Please don’t act like people focusing on TERFs and their harm to trans women is taking away from you any.
Trans women are actively being murdered and killed by TERFS.
They need to be the forefront of the conversation. Trans women will always be at the forefront of our conversations with TERFS, and as TME’s we need to be there boosting trans women’s voices.
