a 43 cal recipe for when i want to curb my pizza cravings
I live in italy and obviously pizza is a huge part of the italian food culture, but it’s also one of the things that trigger a binge episode the most, at least for me, so here’s a small recipe that really helps when those binge urges kick in
First I take a rice cake (31 cal)
then I top it with one teaspoon of tomato sauce (it’s 29 cal for 100 grams, since one teaspoon is 5 grams it’s literally 1.45 calories)
Then I top it with half a light kraft single (20 cal for one slice, just 10 if you divide it in half) and voilà !
If you want to live the true italian dinner experience, bake it at 200°C untile the cheese is melted and eat it with a glass of Diet Coke (I used the off-brand kind bc i’m cheap haha).
Anyway, to be completely honest it doesn’t taste like pizza but it’s good, it’s low cal, it has the melted cheese, the tomato sauce, the half crunchy half soft base, and (for me, at least) they’re completely guilt free bc I know that eating a whole 1000 cal pizza would make me feel wayyyy worse than a couple of these!
