a 43 cal recipe for when i want to curb my pizza cravings

I live in italy and obviously pizza is a huge part of the italian food culture, but it’s also one of the things that trigger a binge episode the most, at least for me, so here’s a small recipe that really helps when those binge urges kick in

First I take a rice cake (31 cal)

then I top it with one teaspoon of tomato sauce (it’s 29 cal for 100 grams, since one teaspoon is 5 grams it’s literally 1.45 calories)

Then I top it with half a light kraft single (20 cal for one slice, just 10 if you divide it in half) and voilà!

If you want to live the true italian dinner experience, bake it at 200°C untile the cheese is melted and eat it with a glass of Diet Coke (I used the off-brand kind bc i’m cheap haha).

Anyway, to be completely honest it doesn’t taste like pizza but it’s good, it’s low cal, it has the melted cheese, the tomato sauce, the half crunchy half soft base, and (for me, at least) they’re completely guilt free bc I know that eating a whole 1000 cal pizza would make me feel wayyyy worse than a couple of these! Ana water fast tracker ✨

So, whenever I fast for a long time I tend to lose motivation quite often. If you have the same problem, here’s something you can do.

You make a long stripe of paper, glue multiple stripes together bc it has to be quite long, and then you devide it in however many hours you’re fasting (I did 48 hours). Then you write down the hours from 1 to 48 from top to bottom and hang it on the wall.

Every time you make it through one hour you can cut off a piece from the bottom and then see how many hours you have left. Try to make it all the way to the top star and you made it through your fast!!

It’s very motivating to see the stripe get shorter and shorter with each hour, it’s like making your way to the top, literally!

I got this idea from my grandma, we used to do this to count down the days until my birthday when I was little. I’m using it now to count down the hours of my fast but you can use it for literally anything.

It might seem silly but I do this every time and it’s awesome!
