This is so cute and the pose is so deeply relatable that I immediately said, out loud, “They’re NOT FOR YOU, they’re for the PTA meeting!” and my husband nodded sagely and said “That stands for People That are Anacondas” and now I can’t stop laughing.

My second entry for Month of Love! This week’s theme was favorite love story and I gotta say, it was too hard to pick just one out of the twenty some-odd that I came up with.
I always come back to the knight/noble lady trope because I’m cheesy and it’s the best. It’s also a Valentine’s Day image for m’lady (hah) and I because I call her that so often.

When she was still heiress presumptive of Denmark, Margrethe sent her own illustrations for The Lord of the Rings to Tolkien and he was struck by how similar her illustrations were to his own. Her drawings appeared in the Danish edition of The Lord of the Rings under the pseudonym Ingahild Grathmer. That way she became a Tolkien artist.
