FUCK YEAH. These 2 had a rivalry but a solid respect for one another. Each had his own slightly different style of Blues, but they both were pivotal in extending the Blues genre into the folds of rock n roll, folk music, soul, jazz, and bringing their music into widespread popularity and influence around the world. There are many who have contributed greatly to artistic expression in music, but I can’t think of many others who have set such an incredible precedent as these 2 badasses.

I believe in leaving other people alone. I believe in not bothering other people or worrying about what it is they believe or don’t believe. I subscribe to the idea of live and let live and in return expect the same courtesy be bestowed upon me and my family. I don’t come into your house looking to take your shit and telling you how to live your life. I’m not sitting around worried about whether you’re thinking about how much you hate this, that or the other…I don’t hurt anybody and I expect no one to hurt me.
However, if your designs are other than to leave me and mine alone, you will be met with resistance of the utmost prejudice. I have no desire to tell anyone how they should (or should not) lead their lives, believe in any certain God, be attracted to any specific sex, or anything else that pertains to their business, and not my own. Keyword being their business. My business, however is not yours to be concerned with, unless, of course, my business is actively harming you or yours. In which case I would expect you to show some intestinal fortitude and tell me where to go and how to get there. That is what people seem to have forgotten. It’s not enough to control what someone says or does publicly. Now it has become a matter of they want to control what you think, what you feel, what you agree with, who you vote for,and whether or not you harbor feelings of ill will toward any group or individual.
I am not interested in your drama, your gossip, your rumors, your political ideology, your sexual orientation, your belief or disbelief in God, or anything else for that matter. Therefore, I cordially request that you mind your own fucking business when it comes to me.
