FYI, Portlanders. (via hopesandoval)
The marches this past weekend were truly stirring and heartening and impressive, but they're well documented elsewhere. Here at WAY TOO MUCH PORTLAND, we're more inclined to share this picture of the guy who clearly uprooted a "Carpool Lane" sign from the side of the road and brought it to Pioneer Square as his protest sign.
Nordstrom hearts PDX so much that its windows are boarded up this morning in the likely event of rioting. Please stay safe everyone, and watch out for each other.
I drew this for Star Wars Day a couple weeks back. It’s called “Tattooed’ine.” Consider it the chaser to that last post’s soul-crushing Star Wars-osity. xoxo - Greg
After a year or two of watching it slowly climb to the sky with ominous John Williams music thundering in our heads, “The Yard” (aka the Death Star, aka the Borg Cube, aka Frank’s 2,000″ TV) is now renting one-bedrooms for only $2306 - $4700 a month at the tail end of the Burnside Bridge, an area that was much more affordable until about, oh, four minutes ago. Feel free to shell out nearly five grand a month just to make daily awkward small talk in the elevator with Grand Moff Tarkin.
The things I have to see in Portland when I'm just trying to walk around and mind my own goddamn business
