This minecraft short comic called "A strange Coast" made by Ian Flynn I believe, I found in a book from my library I work has to be one of the most beautiful and respectful takes on the game.
It understands minecraft so perfectly and doesn't treat it as childishly as the other stories in it did.
And all that within 10 pages and no word spoken.

HELP i think i just found the funniest thing ever
Last month I caught Covid, and right at the start of my symptoms I saw this post. For the next 8ish days, I was HAUNTED by this song. It played on a loop in my head for hours. I would wake up in the middle of the night covered in sweat singing “…mixed with Zach Galifianakis” as it bounced around in my virus-addled brain. It was literally inescapable.
Anyway as soon as that ended, the Morbin Time memes started so you can imagine how that went for me, who would be deliriously sick for another 5 days.

No one wants to talk about how if James and the Giant Peach was a more recent movie, you all would be thirsting over Mr. Centipede and Miss Spider for VERY different reasons.
Mr. Centipede: Ideal gross tumblr man. Smokes a cigar. Is pathetic. Probably smells like a corpse constantly.
Miss Spider: Will kill you. Is hot. Is woman. Sexy. Also her aesthetic is absolutely on point.
But Ness! All the bugs are attractive in their own right!

(And this isn't even covering how there's cannon marriages between all the bugs in the original book, and other than Centipede and Spider, the other two marriages come out of absolutely nowhere, but since they all live together it is safe to assume they're poly and putting on heteronormative masks. Especially since the homoerotic tension between Grasshopper and Centipede was absolutely palpable.)
