Things to do today: 1. Get up. 2. Survive. 3. Go back to bed
y’all ever have men that make ur chest hurt w how much u need to give them a kiss on the mouth
characters who are absolutely convinced down to their bones that they are unlovable being subjected to the mortifying ideal of being wholly and unconditionally loved. that’s the good stuff. never get tired of it.
This works for people, too
Just so we're all on the same page with the writer's strike.
If during the strike, it's announced about AI generated shows. We are not watching them. Not even out of curiosity. Let them fail every AI generated show they try make.
The human voice can not be replaced by AI. Don't let them try.
Some of the Most Story Moments of All Time:
- Hand kisses
- Forehead touches
- First kiss between character who has been pining for ages and character whose feelings have always been hidden/unclear
- Desperate weeping in the arms of someone the character loves
- Desperate weeping in the arms of someone the character hates, because that's the only person there
- Someone whose head is lowered in shame having it lifted up with a gentle hand under the chin, only to see forgiveness in the eyes of someone who has every right not to give it
- Trying not to cry, only for something small and inconsequential to shatter the character completely
- Noses brushing before or after a kiss
- When they're kissing and crying at the same time, tears mingling
- When a character's friend or beloved is in danger and they go quiet and/or silent, and anyone who knows them knows they just got a lot more dangerous
- A character stroking someone's hair
- When they know they have a lot they need to say to each other-good, bad, or other-but they're both so exhausted that they just sink to the ground, words temporarily put aside for rest, for listening to each other's quiet breaths
- When a character has one specific thing they always use to get through to/comfort someone they love, and one day they have to use it under extreme circumstances (the other character is brainwashed, for instance) and it works
- Similarly, a character stepping closer to a brainwashed character, ignoring the warnings, because "I know you won't hurt me"
- When two characters who have had several almost-kisses finally get their kiss
- Dancing but with a threat behind it; the assassin dancing with the target, and they both know who the other is, but they're both too careful to make a scene, so they sway in each other's arms, faces serene, as if one isn't holding a knife on the other and the other doesn't have a gun resting against the one's back
some observations on color coding eyewear in ficton and their meanings
children outside screaming: annoying but ultimately for the greater good. children need Going Outside and Screaming Time for proper emotional development. an auditory burden I am willing to bear
neighbor with his car he made louder on purpose: jail for neighbor. jail for ten thousand years
I’m so emotional about dinosaur stuffed animals,,, there are these creatures, extinct long before any of us were alive, but we found their bones and their eggs and their footprints. And we made drawings and models of what they could’ve looked like. And we made them into stuffed animals so we could hold them. We made them soft so we could love them. I’m sobbing
