still thinking abt how kit originally auditioned for the role of charlie ,, like imagine you’re alice and the literal embodiment of a character you made when you were like 16/17 walked in and was like hi i’m here to audition for that character’s bf 😭

Nick, holding a box: what would you say if I came home with 6 kittens?

Charlie: what’s in the box Nick

Nick:

Charlie: what’s in the box

Nick: I think you know what’s in the box

Charlie: let them in

How much it took

Did any of you realize how much it took to get Ron to leave in Deathly Hallows ??

J.k.R. had to :

- chunk a part of Ron's arm so that he'd almost bleed to death, without letting him a chance to properly recover since his arm is still mangled three months later

- starve Ron for months

- mentally torture Ron with a Horcruxe (either every day for a few hours, or every 3 days for 24 hours)

- get him to listen to a conversation in which he hears that another Weasley kid has been injured and that Ginny has been caught by "Death Eater" Snape and sent in the Forbidden Forrest as a punishment (in which there's an army of human-eating Acromentulas)

- have Harry and Hermione so excited about their new discovery that they forgot everything else

- have Harry antagonize Ron (not a diss on Harry, he was influenced by the locket too) and refuse that Ron take off the locket during the fight

- get Harry to tell Ron to leave three times

But as Ron really didn't want to leave and wanted to come back straight away, she had to :

- get Ron to Apparate straight in a gang of Snatchers so that he couldn't come back right away

- get Ron to Apparate miles from the camp once he escapes, splinched and probably gravely injured, so that he can't find the camp in time again

And all that time, Ron was a 17-year-old. A high schooler. Damn. The sheer determination. The mental strength. The fortitude.
