one thing i never expected going into the gundam franchise is how my eyes wells up immediately everytime i remember about g-gundam and it's unflinching ideals of how invincible love and kindess truly is
i always feel partially annoyed by how much people sells it exclusively as a silly little gundam thing where it's dumb and silly and that's why it's good
g-gundam is as blunt as a sledgehammer trying to tell you what it preaches but as such it's exactly as effective as one, at least if one allows themselves to treat it like they would conventionally more serious medias
