I just found a Singer 66 model from the late 50s that collapses into the table on fb marketplace for $50! It sounds like it's in useable condition already... might go get it if the lady answers!!

Those things are such a pain in the arse to move, so bloody heavy 😭

It looks a little "lighter" than the gigantic ones I've seen 😅 so crossing my fingers!! Lady is selling because she bought her mom a more modern one apparently. So it worked at one point I'm assuming lol. I'm tight on space in my apartment so it can't be too big lol.

Most of the ones I've seen, people are using them as a desk 😵‍💫 A small desk, for sure, but they're pretty spacious. The machine is a pretty solid piece of metal, which is what makes them such a beast to move.
