• suddenly starts seeing them everywhere
• overthinking every little interaction
• overthinking every fictional reaction
• wondering if they'll appear at any/all events you have
• ears perking when someone says their name
• you're talking, sitting together, they keep making excuses to lean over and check your computer, to talk
• laughing together (in a good way))
• but like. good, amused laughing yk.
• projects together
• your friend dragging you to check if they're in club, you reluctantly (?) following
• the swoop of the stomach when they look
• thinking about them all the timeeee getting distracted and vague and your friends ask why you're tired
• Taylor swift on repeat (but this fits anything tbh)

• realizing oh that was a bad choice after several committed months of blushing
• still getting butterflies even years later
• heart growing heavy when you look at them later
